An Afternoon Adventure on Horseback

After sleeping in and having a leisurely breakfast, pick up your delicious picnic lunch and then you’re off to enjoy the beautiful Hudson Valley countryside on horseback. The ride is led by experienced wranglers, handpicked by the stable owner who has over forty years of experience. Groomed trails wind through over 100 acres of private Hudson Valley woodlands. Your horse will be chosen according to your level of expertise. The stable provides and requires helmets, and the horses are gentle and responsive. This ride is available year-round.

When you leave the inn, Chef Cyd will have a mouthwatering picnic lunch ready to take with you. Enjoy the meal in the provided picnic area at the stables before you head off on your ride. The picnic items are prepared according to the season, and include a soft drink or water, an appetizer, main dish, and an evil dessert. Should you desire something specific in your picnic, please let us know.
$235 includes a 2 hour trail ride, gourmet lunch, and sales tax per couple.
The stable is located approximately 1 hour driving north from our inn.

Cancellation by the rider less than seven days ahead of time results in $25.00 cancellation fee per person. Should there be inclement weather, the ride must be paid for and can be rescheduled for a mutually convenient date in the future.
